uFly Simulator launches location in Mississauga

A new experience takes off in Canada as flight simulator company uFly Simulator launches location in Mississauga. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MISSISSAUGA, Ontario (October 8, 2013) - uFly Simulator launches the only entertainment flight simulator in Canada offering a real size commercial 777 cockpit replica, complete with a fully functioning instrument panel.

Born out of Directors Claudio Teixeira’s and Gabriel Da Silva’s love of flying, the company offers everyone the chance to be a pilot and test their skills flying a 777 commercial jet from any airport in the world under any weather condition.

The simulator can be enjoyed by the general public as a fun entertaining experience for anyone who has ever wanted to fly a commercial airplane. It can also be used to provide professional pilots with instrumentation familiarity training. The full size 777 cockpit has room for two "pilots" plus a trainer (who is a professional pilot), and can be used for flight enthusiasts, corporate training, special groups, or as a unique gift. No prior flight experience is required to enjoy the flight simulator.

Claudio Teixeira and Gabriel Da Silva, the partners behind uFly Simulator say, "We are passionate about flying and both had dreams of being pilots. When we fly an airplane simulator we have the feeling of being an actual pilot or co-pilot and the feeling of freedom and accomplishment that comes with such an experience. “Our goal is to help people fulfill their dreams of flying a commercial aircraft and experience becoming a pilot.” Claudio Teixeira originally came up with the idea of launching the company when he experienced disappointment at trying to find a company in Canada to offer him such an experience. “I could not find another company offering the authentic experience of flying in a real cockpit of a 777 for the simple joy and entertainment of flying a commercial airplane.”

The company just launched their first flight simulator and plans to add another simulator within the year in order to deliver a guaranteed flight experience. A third simulator is planned in the near future.

uFly Simulator gives everyone the chance to experience being at the controls of a commercial jet. They help people fulfill their dreams of flying a commercial aircraft and the experience of being a pilot, as well as providing pilots the opportunity at gaining instrumentation panel training. The company offers a full size replica cockpit of a 777 commercial airliner complete with a fully functional instrument panel through their retail location in Missisauga.

The new location in Mississauga will launch with an official ribbon cutting ceremony on October 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Mayor Hazel McCallion and Peter McCallion, along with other dignitaries, will be preset for the official ribbon cutting ceremony and for photo opportunities in the cockpit of the 777 simulator.
